Service Description

Aqiqah is a Sunnah practice in Islam that involves the sacrifice of an animal (sheep or goat) on behalf of a newborn baby. The sacrifice is typically performed on the seventh day after the baby's birth, although it can be done at any time during the baby's first year of life. The purpose of aqiqah is to express gratitude to Allah for the gift of a child and to seek His blessings for the child's future. The sacrifice of the animal is also seen as a way of sharing the blessings of the child's birth with the less fortunate members of the community, as the meat from the sacrifice is distributed to the poor and needy. In Fitriyyah, we help you to arrange for the purchase and sacrifice of the animal, as well as handle the distribution of meat to the poor and needy.
